The Renault Duster Road Tech II Edition celebrates 100,000 Dusters in Brazil.

Loosely based on the Road Tech I edition that was launched in September 2012, the II edition gains a ‘Dark Star’ grille, black masks for the headlights, blackened roof rails and air inlets, a grey finish for the wing mirrors and 16-inch alloy wheels, and Road Tech II decals on the bootlid and lower body cladding.

Inside, the Road Tech II gets Renault’s 7-inch touchscreen media system with integrated navigation. Since this edition is based on the Dynamique variant (the top-end trim), features such as rear parking sensors, ABS and dual front airbags are standard.

The Duster Road Tech II will be available with a manual and automatic transmission.

The Road Tech II will be available only with the 2.0-liter 16v engine which produces 138 bhp (petrol) or 142 bhp (ethanol) and 197 Nm (petrol) or 209 Nm (ethanol) of torque. This is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox (available with 4×2 and 4×4) or a 4-speed auto box (available only with 4×2).

Olivier Murguet, President of Renault of Brazil, said -

The Duster is a model that offers robustness, internal space and meets the customer’s needs both in town and off road. These and other qualities prove its optimal business performance.

No Diesel version… brasilians live in the cave age…. especially the 4×4 version, with an excellent Nissan transmision ans suspension… i cant belive they put a petrol engine in a off-road version…
