The products in question are the Indian Chief Classic, the Chief Vintage and the Chieftain. These cruisers are powered by an all-new Thunder Stroke 111 engine (as it displaces 111 cubic inches/1819cc) producing 161.6 Nm of peak torque at 3,000 rpm and mated to a 6-speed transmission.

Standard features on the Classic include a keyless entry start and a full chrome finish, while the Chief Vintage gets leather saddle bags and a quick release windshield which can be attached/detached in a few minutes.

The Chieftain goes one step further with a powered windshield, hard saddle bags mounted on quick release anchors, electronic locks for the saddle bags controlled through the key or console, additional driving lights, an audio system with high-output speakers and an integrated Bluetooth system with smart phone support.

Seeing this product portfolio, we believe that the cruisers will be imported into the country via the CBU (Completely Built up Unit) route.
