IAB’s Car of The Year and Two-Wheeler Awards – Your chance to pick the winner
Anjan Ravi, I'm a true-blooded petrolhead. Hope you enjoy our news stories, launch coverages, motorshow coverages and test drive reports.
New cars and motorcycles are put through grueling tests, all so that they qualify for the most prestigious/coveted/desirable award, which is the Indian Autos Blog Reader’s Choice Car of The Year and the Reader’s Choice 2-Wheeler of The Year awards.
This is your chance to vote for your favorite car and motorcycle that was launched and on sale in 2013. Tell us, who among the four-wheelers should get this award?
Should it be a compact luxury car, such as the 1 Series, V40 or the A Class, or would you rather vote for the epitome of luxury itself, the Rolls Royce Wraith? Should it be a budget all-rounder, such as the EcoSport, Amaze or Grand i10, or the ultimate all-rounder, such as the Range Rover Sport or Mercedes GL?
Other nominees include the Sail sedan, Enjoy, F-Type, Verito Vibe, Terrano and Skoda Octavia.
Coming to 2-Wheelers now, we have a list of 12 nominees. The scooters comprise of the Honda Activa i and the TVS Jupiter while budget motorcycles include the likes of the Bajaj Discover 100 M and the well-equipped Mahindra Centuro.
Kawasaki fans will have a tough time picking between the ZX-10 R, ZX-14 R and Ninja 300, while KTM enthusiasts have it easy with the Duke 390. Other contenders include the 2014 Harley Street Glide, Hyosung’s Aquila Pro and GT650 R and the recently launched Royal Enfield Continental GT.
Winners of the Indian Autos Blog Reader’s Choice Award will be announced in the end of January 2014. The poll can also be accessed by our readers on the left-hand side of the page and you can choose up to 5 options. Happy voting!
