The 2015 C-Class was revealed by Mercedes on the internet well prior to its debut in Detroit next month. But here are the first images of the car in the real world without camouflage, studio lights or optical tricks.

The company will conduct a road trip from Houston to Detroit, where a bunch of international bloggers will accompany the new C-Class for the “Mercedes-Benz Road Trip 14” that will end at North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), its world premiere stage.

From the images we see that this is the AMG line variant but the headlamps appear to be completely different from what we have seen in the official images. The ones on this model are traditional halogen lamps.

While tail-lamps look similar, they are missing the LED strips. The alloy wheels too resemble to those fitted on the A-Class.

The variant seen here could be the base offering and dressed in the AMG kit for demo purpose.

Mercedes takes a similar approach for its launches in India, where the first lot of the cars (CBUs and fully-loaded variants) are fitted with the AMG body kit.
