These images of a camouflaged 2014 Tata Vista facelift (a.k.a Falcon 4) were snapped by Team BHP member Hemanth Anand. One of the images reveals that the instrument cluster of the redesigned Vista will not be placed in the center of the dashboard, but on the driver's side.

Another image shows the new taillight layout, which is clustered below the rear windscreen thus breaking Tata's traditional christmas-tree layout.

According to media reports, Tata Motor's European Design Center is responsible for redesigning the Vista. The company will market the car with an all-new nameplate, ditching the 'Vista' and 'Indica' names. Underneath though, this will remain a Vista and will continue to be powered by the 1.3-liter Fiat-sourced MultiJet diesel engine. The 1.2-liter petrol engine could feature some refinements to increase its power and efficiency, while Tata could also plug in their 1.4-liter BS4-compliant TDI engine.

Yesterday, it was reported that Tata Motors had discontinued the Vista D90, and that dealers were clearing existing stock to make way for the Falcon 4, which would have its market launch shortly after the Auto Expo showcase (in early February 2014).

Tata is also working on a compact, sub-4m Manza sedan which is codenamed Falcon 5. Both, the Falcon 4 and Falcon 5 will be shown at the Auto Expo.
