This is the touch-panel for the auto AC system.

First, here are a few things that caught our eye. The touch-panel for the auto AC in the new City is the same as that of the 2014 Honda Jazz/Fit which went on sale in Japan recently. Even the three-pod instrument cluster with its blue backlighting shares a lot with the new Jazz. [Editor's Note: According to the odo, this City has covered 91 km. That's 91 km without being spotted or photographed in India!]

Ok, we'll make this simple: The aircon vents, start-stop button, steering wheel with its integrated controls are all lifted from the new Jazz.

The new City comes with rear AC vents.

Moving to the rear seats, the new City gets separate aircon vents to cool its rear passengers. Its still unclear whether these are merely blowers, or the aircon unit themselves.

The wheelbase of the car is improved by 50 mm which should enhance the rear seat comfort. The shoulder room and head room are up by 40 mm and 10 mm respectively.

The new City will launch in India in early 2014 with a petrol and a diesel engine. The petrol motor is an improved version of the existing 1.5-liter i-VTEC, while the diesel engine is the 1.5-liter EarthDreams unit which is seen powering the Honda Amaze.
