Nepal - Yamaha Ray Z, Suzuki Hayate and Bajaj Discover 125 T launched

The past month has seen three Made-In-India two-wheelers launch in Nepal. The Yamaha Ray Z, the Suzuki Hayate and the Bajaj Discover 125T launched in Nepal within a couple of days from each other - Yamaha launched the Ray Z on 15th September, Bajaj launched the Discover on 17th and the Suzuki launch took place on the 20th.

Yamaha Ray Z
The Yamaha Ray Z has been priced at 162,900 NPR (INR 1.01 lakhs).

While MAW, the official distributor of Yamaha in Nepal, launched the Ray in April this year, the Ray Z targets the male audience and has been priced at 162,900 NPR (INR 1.01 lakhs). The scooter is powered by a four-stroke 115cc single-cylinder engine and develops 7 bhp and 8.1 Nm of torque with a claimed efficiency of 53km/l. The Ray Z for Nepal is available in three colors - Black Thunder, Regal Red and the Pristine White.

Bajaj Discover 125 T
The Bajaj Discover 125 T has been priced at 169,900 NPR (INR 1.06 lakhs).

The Discover 125T was launched by HH Bajaj, the Nepali distributor of Bajaj Auto Ltd. and has been priced at 169,900 NPR (INR 1.06 lakhs). Powering the 125T is a four-stroke 125cc single-cylinder engine with Bajaj's DTS-i technology. Equipped with a 5-speed transmission, the 125T produces 12.5 PS and 10.8 Nm of torque.

Suzuki Hayate
The Suzuki Hayate has been priced at 149,900 NPR (INR 93,588).

Finally, Ganesh Enterprises, Suzuki's long-serving Nepali distributor, launched the Hayate at 149,900 NPR (INR 93,588) and marked its 33-year of association with the Japanese brand. The 112.8cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine in the Hayate produces 8.3 bhp and 8.88 Nm of torque.
