Jaguar South Africa have introduced a limited edition on the XF sedan. Called the ‘carbon pack’ edition, only 100 units will be made.
Internally named the ‘pounce pack’, the Jaguar XF Carbon Pack will be sold without any increase in prices. That seems quite generous given that it would normally cost 40,000 Rand (INR 2.48 lakhs) to outfit a normal XF with this carbon pack.
The grille and its surrounding element are featured in a gloss black color while the wheels come in a gloss grey shade. The center cap on the wheel gets its Jaguar logo in a red color while the valve caps are fitted with a Union Jack logo!
The vents behind the front wheels, the wing mirror housings and a new rear spoiler are completely made out of carbon fiber. The top-end 3.0-liter model also gets a rear diffuser with vertical fins that manage the airflow.
The carbon pack will be sold only on the 2.0-liter turbo-petrol and the 3.0-liter supercharged V6 variants. While the 2.0-liter unit outputs 237 hp, the 3.0-liter V6 produces 335 hp. Prices range from 552,600 Rand (INR 34.24 lakhs) for the 2.0-liter model to 765,200 Rand (INR 47.42 lakhs) for the 3.0-liter V6 model.
