For the Indonesian market, the Mobilio will be offered only with a single engine option which happens to be the City's 1.5-liter i-VTEC motor producing 118 PS and 144 Nm of torque. Two transmission options are available - a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox. Three trim levels will be available at the time of the launch - 'S', 'E', and an 'E CVT' variant.

The Mobilio is expected to launch in India next year with the 1.5-liter diesel engine from the Amaze.

Indonesian prices for the Mobilio range from 150-180 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 8.41 to INR 10.09 lakhs). In Indonesia as well as in India, the Mobilio has its main rival in the Suzuki/Maruti Ertiga.

Given that the Ertiga has a diesel engine in India, Honda Cars India are expected to launch the Mobilio next year with the option of their 1.5-liter EarthDreams diesel engine which is also seen in the Amaze. A showcasing at the 2014 Auto Expo cannot be ruled out.
