Brunei - India-made Honda Amaze launched at 21,000 Bruneian Dollar

Honda has launched the India-made Amaze in Brunei today. Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Honda Cars in Brunei, commenced sales of the car, strapped with a petrol engine.

The Honda Amaze sold in Brunei is visually and mechanically the same as the model sold in India. The 1.2-liter i-VTEC petrol engine producing 88PS will power the Amaze in Brunei and Honda will offer it with a 5-speed manual and the 5-speed automatic gearbox.

Features seen on the Amaze in India such as ABS, EBD, dual front airbags, power folding wing mirrors and the ECO light are available on the Bruneian Amaze that is retailed in two trim levels - 1.2 C Manual and 1.2 C Automatic.

Brunei will only get the 1.2-liter i-VTEC petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission.

While the manual variant is priced at 21,000 Bruneian Dollar (INR 10.29 lakhs), the automatic variant is priced at 23,200 dollars (INR 11.37 lakhs).
