The 2014 Tata Vista facelift was caught testing in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, recently by Motor Vikatan reader Mr. Anthony. Though the car is completely camouflaged, we have reason to believe that the taillights would be redesigned and repositioned, thus ditching the 'christmas-tree' arrangement currently seen on the Vista and the Indica.

The taillights would ditch the vertically stacked design pattern and get repositioned on the lower half of the bootlid.

As a result, the design of the bootlid would also change and based on the spyshots, the registration plate enclosure would move up from the rear bumper to the bootlid.

The front fascia would get a grille inspired by the Tata Manza Hybrid concept shown at the 2012 Auto Expo. Complimenting the new grille would be a set of new headlights and a redesigned front bumper with triangular airdams.

The 2014 Vista would retain the same set of engines. The 1.3L Fiat MultiJet diesel engine, rebranded Quadrajet, is available in two states of tunes of 75PS and 90PS. Also available is a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 65PS.

Tata also sells the Vista with the 1.4-liter TDI diesel producing 71PS, though this engine conforms to BS3 emission norms only. The more modern BS4-complying CR4 engine when the refreshed Vista is launched.
