The Honda Mobilio took center stage at the 2013 Indonesia International Motor Show which concluded yesterday. Based on the Brio's platform, the Mobilio is Honda's answer to the Maruti-Suzuki Ertiga.

The Honda Mobilio's interiors are the same as that of the Brio and the Amaze.

The company had earlier released a graphic image of the interiors, though these pictures from the actual car tell you exactly whats coming your way. The dashboard has been carried over from the Brio and it seems that the top-end variant would get this touchscreen multimedia system.

Silver-colored pedals and a leather finished gearknob in a black color, are the only features we can spot that are available in this Mobilio, but not on the Brio/Amaze.

Honda Mobilio second row seats
The secondary aircon unit should keep all the occupants comfortable.

From the image, it seems that the second row would boast similar levels of legroom found on the Amaze. A roof mounted secondary aircon should ensure that all occupants are kept comfortable. The rear seat gets a knob (similar to that found on MPVs such as the Innova) to tumble it forward for access to the last row.

Even with all seats in place, the Mobilio seems to offer a lot of boot space! Honda's "Man Maximum, Machine Minimum" strategy seems to have done its job, at least in these images. The company has not revealed specifications such as boot volume, rear seat leg/shoulder/head room etc.,

Boot space seems to be more than adequate even with all seats in place.

The Mobilio for Indonesia is powered by the City's 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine putting 118PS and 144Nm of torque. Honda would also endow the Mobilio with a diesel heart when it comes to India next year.
