The Datsun brand will unveil an all-new car on September 17th. The second car of the modern day Datsun brand would be unveiled in Jakarta, Indonesia, two days before the start of the 2013 Indonesian International Motor Show.

This new car would be the first of two models to go on sale in Indonesia in 2014. Datsun says that the car was "developed locally" and that the target audience would be the "new generation of aspirational customers".

Datsun's first car for the 21st century was unveiled on July 15th in India by Mr. Carlos Ghosn, CEO and COO, Renault-Nissan.

The press release uses the same words that we read for the Datsun Go and calls the car "modern, attractive, accessible and reliable". The company also announces that the car would be priced below 100 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 5.93 lakhs).

There is a good possibility that the second car is the rumored Datsun 7-seater MPV based on the Go. Datsun may want to capitalize on the fact that Indonesia is an MPV friendly market, and it certainly makes sense to have their first product cater to the LMPV (low cost MPV) segment.
