The new Toyota Corolla offers good protection to both adult and child occupants.

Euro NCAP adds that the four door saloon's safety equipment like seat belt reminders, airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts and Electronic Stability Control worked as per the test requirements. In the event of a frontal collision, the new Corolla is found to offer good protection to both the driver and the occupants irrespective of their postures and physiques.

To protect occupants from side impact, the Mid Grade variant provides curtain airbags which also functioned properly under the test. Protection against whiplash was satisfactory as well.
