Here is another set of spy shot of the Maruti Wagon R Stingray. These images are courtesy of a Bosch Blogspot, who say that the car was spotted in a dealer yard. A clear sign that the launch of the Stingray is just around the corner, and could even take place on August 20th as rumored.

From an exterior viewpoint, the Stingray sports a completely revised front fascia. A slimmer grille (which appears to be largely made up of chrome), a sleeker looking headlamp cluster with projector lights, an all new bumper and a flat bonnet should help you distinguish the Stingray from the regular Wagon R. At the sides, the alloy wheel design is all new while there are very minor changes at the rear.

Stingray gets projector headlights.

The combination lights get a silver surround while the rear chrome embellishment for the number plate gets 'Stingray' written on it. We don't think there would be any mechanical changes so expect the current 1.0-liter 68PS K-Series engine to continue unchanged.

Inside we notice that the Stingray gets steering mounted audio controls. The car spied here is the top-end VXi model sporting ABS. Yet, we don't see a dual-tone beige interior and this could mean that the Stingray has to do with the all-black interior plastics.

While we notice the steering mounted audio controls, the Stingray doesn't sport the dual-tone beige interior.

With an expected premium price of about INR 40,000-50,000 more than the standard Wagon R, the Stingray should bring the much needed 'festive cheer' for Maruti.

And yes, we tried going to the website that is displayed on the car - marutisuzukistingray.com - it's not up and running, yet.
