Maruti Suzuki has launched the Maruti Alto 800 VXi with an Airbag. In the month of June, Maruti had introduced the VXi range topping variant to the Alto 800 range. You can now specify this variant with a driver side airbag should you wish to.

The Alto 800, launched in Diwali 2012, was the first Alto in India to offer an optional airbag. However the airbag could be specified only on the LXi variant, which was then the top-end variant.
