Brazil - New Renault Logan continues tests, production begins late 2013

Renault Brazil is working meticulously to ensure the timely launch of the new Renault Logan. The model is regularly spotted testing by the public and the latest catch is by Noticias Automotivas reader Amaral Fernando Torres who shot these two images in Sao Jaoquim.

The test mule wears very limited camouflage and green test plates. The extras are the alloy wheels and a body colored wing mirrors.

As per Brazilian media reports, the new Renault Logan would enter production in October at Renault’s production facility in the city of Parana. Either a 1.0-liter 16v Flex engine making 80bhp or a 1.6-liter Flex engine making 106bhp would drive the car. The latter is likely to come with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Renault will introduce the Sandero hatchback next year to add more substance to its entry level car range.
