The official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), launched a limited edition Pajero Sport VGT Euro last Thursday.
Only 250 copies of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport VGT Euro would be made. The vehicle is priced at RM180,550 (33.7 lakh INR, insurance not included) and is sold in a choice of Black Mica and White Pearl color choices. The company's announced a free maintenance plan for two years and warranty package for 5 years/unlimited mileage.
New or improved features on the limited edition Pajero include the front airdam, moonroof, six airbags, eight-way adjustable driver seat and a newly designed aero body kit.
The special edition is priced at RM13k (2.42 lakh INR) over the standard Pajero Sport VGT variant. This variant is already well equipped with reverse camera, leather interiors, rain-sensing wipers, auto lights, cruise control and magnesium-alloy paddle shifters.
The special edition Pajero is driven by a VGT-powered 2.5-litre turbodiesel engine with an output of 178 PS and 350 Nm of torque. In South Asia, the Pajero Sport competes with the Isuzu MU-7, Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Everest. The limited edition Pajero is the third Mitsubishi in recent times to have received the special treatment after the ASX Euro and Triton Euro editions were brought in last year.
