Here's a look back at all the automotive events that played out on the 5th of June since 2009.

June 5, 2009 - Chevrolet Spark LPG variant steps into showrooms, Hyundai Verna Transform with provocative looks launches in Korea. Hyundai India would launch it as a countermeasure to falling sales the following year and within a few months, launch the Fluidic Verna which made a meal out of the C Segment. As they say, if you fail, try again!

Renault Duster spied testing in Chennai by Bairesh Raj

June 5, 2011 - VW begins testing the new Jetta in India, the car is brought to the market in 2011. We manage to spot the first Korando in India, bearing the usual number plates, in Mumbai. The future of this car in India is still hanging in the balance.

June 5, 2012 - Toyota Etios gets off to a flier in South Africa, Limited edition Altis Aero is launched in India, Honda celebrates a milestone of 5 lakh Indian customers and Renault isn't done testing the Duster yet! There was no chance of them sniffing back then that 60,000 customers were waiting for this car!
