Ford Classic Limited Edition variant gets 7 added features

The Ford Classic (Ford Fiesta Classic for the more sentimental few), continues to be on sale even though the latest generation Fiesta was launched in India two years ago (exactly 1 year and 11 months to be pedantic).

Ford seems to have slipped in a limited edition Ford Classic in the CLXi trim today. There are seven new features to be spoken about.

Ford Classic CLXi Limited Edition

1. The Classic CLXi limited edition gets front fog lamps. This feature, which was only available in the top-end Titanium model is now seen on this limited edition also.

2. Alloy wheels have been added to the CLXi limited edition. Once again, only the Titanium version got the alloy wheels and the other variants (LXi and CLXi) stood on steel wheels. The specifications of the wheels continue to be 175/65 14-inchers with tubeless tires.

3. A chrome plated garnish has been included for the number plate holder at the rear. It is to be noted that even the Titanium does not feature this.

Head to Page 2 for the next 4 features.

I HATE IT WHEN A COMPANY LIKE FORD RESORTS TO SUCH THIRD RATE AND UNETHICAL MEANS TO SELL THEIR CARS IN INDIA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SIAM should sue Ford India for fooling the public. Of course there’s an asterisk indicating it’s not the actual mileage and its a mileage achieved during Autocar Cross Country Drive. The actual ARAI mileage is 20 kmpl and gives around 15 kmpl in real conditions.

Ford is doing bad in India. Agreed. And, this is not the first time they’ve doing campaigns like this. But this is not the way to sell cars. Cmon Ford, don’t make people hate you guys. Don’t lose your self respect. No company in India sells cars using inflated mileage claims from such tests. If that’s the case Hero Honda Splendor can claim 145 kmpl and Manza can put 46 kmpl in their ads.

I love the Ford and the Ford classic for its handling. but HATE Ford for stooping so low to sell. Someone should instill some sense in them.

  2. But has anyone confirmed ford’s claim of 30+kmpl FE for diesel?
If true, why Figo is not giving similar (should be better) number?
