The Mahindra Mojo is yet another motorcycle to look forward to in the 250cc-300cc segment.

Mahindra has been testing the Mojo for quite sometime and we believe that the bike is inching closer to the trial production. An ardent Pune-based reader has sent in these spyshots. He spotted the disguised bike testing near Chinchwad, Pune. He left us a note stating that the exhaust note is average.

The Mahindra Mojo was first showcased in 2010. We saw the motorcycle at Auto Expo 2012 and during the inauguration of Mahindra 2 Wheelers' R&D centre in Pune.

The Mojo is powered by a homegrown 300cc single cylinder fuel injected engine which puts out 26 bhp of power and 24 Nm of torque. The gearbox is a 6-speed unit. The figures are at par with the other products in the price segment.

The styling of the Mojo could evoke mixed reactions. The petal disc up front, twin silencers and the meaty rubbers add to the sporty credentials of the bike while the headlamp unit and the fuel tank shape may not be to everybody's liking.

The Mahindra Mojo is in its last phase of testing and we expect the motorcycle to be launched sometime during the festive season (Diwali).
