Chevrolet Enjoy cannot really take over the position of the Ertiga. The Ertiga is a much better car with better features, performance, looks and is definitely value for money. I would any day go for Ertiga!

  2. Manish says:

My O my . Why people in India consider Chinese products as low quality dumb products ? China is bigger and more matured automobile market, in terms of quality and volumes. SAIC , the partner of GM in China , is a name to reckon and Enjoy cousins are one of the highest sold models in China. Out of my experience, when you travel in this MPV, probably the comforts and space will spoil you. This vehicle is for people who prefer comforts over styling and ease of travelling over looks. The GM warranty is icing on the cake.

Moreover I will like to feed to GM team, this comments are done by GM representatives ” Mr. P. Balendran, Vice President, Corporate affairs at GM India says this is not a Chinese product as it is being made in India and has a high percentage of localization. – First of all GM team should understand the qualities of their products well and they should show full faith in their own products. If the product is borrowed from SAIC – China, then why shy away, why give statement like above which any common person can find from goggling, that he is lying. Is it necessary ? You are not selling a piece of junk from China. You are selling product, which are among the highest sold product in China , which is designed for comforts, pleasure and ENJOY the ride.

I think I have more faith in this product then Balendran. I see Enjoy to make it BIG ENJOYEEE, for people who buy this and for GM.

Yes its cheap! Cheap looks, Cheap plastic, Cheap finish and Cheap design. Sad to see these idiots still consider India as 3rd world. They should have launched Chevy Spin with slight premium then I say they are in business. With this I wish them for another market dud! GM India only makes market dud for India anyways!!

  4. Mohammed says:

The Enjoy does look elegant and presentable unlike most of the ugly ducks we see in India in the MPV segment. The cabin looks airy, bright and spacious There’s decent kit on offer as well. Comes across as a very practical MPV which is great VFM to own and maintain.

Now, will it hit the Ertiga down? Not really. Ertiga is actually going through a bit of struggle off late with discounts to the tune of 30k for Diesel is rolled out to bump up sales. However, Ertiga and Innova are in a different league altogether in the MPV segment.

What the Enjoy might do is take the dying Xylo twins (Xylo n Quanto) to the funeral home. The Quanto (in the same price bracket) is down to around 1300 units barely after 7 months of release and Xylo (pricier by a lakh), an engineering disaster, is at 1500 units. The Enjoy might also eat into the numbers of Tavera since the Enjoy is lot more contemporary and modern.
