Video - Watch the BMW 5 Series LCI in action

We were expecting it at the Geneva Motor Show this March and then we thought it would be unveiled at the Auto Shanghai in April but the BMW 5 Series LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) managed to elude us only to be unveiled out of the blue last weekend.

We brought you the images of the refreshed car and now here is a video which shows the entire range of the 5 Series turn their wheels.

The luxury sedan gets a few exterior and interior updates apart from added equipment and revised engine variants. Let's start with what has changed visually.

The front fascia gets a slightly tweaked kidney grill and a new front bumper with different air intakes. The fog lamps are also new and so are the chrome inserts near the fog lamps.

The profile is untouched but you do get new alloy wheels. The changes to the rear are relatively subtle with only a crease and a chrome strip being added to the rear apron. Adding to that are new exterior color options.

Coming to the inside, the iDrive display is now highlighted in chrome and the storage compartments now have enhanced capacity. In terms of equipment, you get new Luxury and Modern trims with added features. The car gets new LED fog lights, standard Xenon headlamps and optional adaptive LED lights.
