The Suzuki Inazuma GW250, a parallel twin naked bike is more a sort of a comfortable commuter rather than a true blue sportsbike.

Media reports have suggested over the last two years that the Inazuma 250 is India bound.

And the bike has been spotted for the first time in India and guess who was astride it! It's none other than Bollywood action hero Salman Khan! The spyshot is a courtesy of Powerdrift.com

Salman Khan is Suzuki's brand ambassador in India so he could very well be promoting the bike either in one of his upcoming movies or may be even filming the TV commercial of the bike. If the latter is true then you can really be excited!

The Inazuma GW250 is powered by a 248cc parallel twin fuel injected engine which puts out 26 bhp and 24.2 Nm of torque which is adequate if not surplus. The power goes to the wheel via a chain drive from the 6-speed gearbox.

Suzuki doesn't want to lock horns with the Ninja in a performance fight but instead has positioned the Inazuma as an adequately powerful and comfortable city bike. A high-set wide handlebars, relatively longer wheelbase (1,430mm), sufficiently upright riding stance and a long seat iterates the objective of the motorcycle.

The front suspension adopts the traditional telescopic suspension while the rear gets a mono shock setup. Both wheels are retarded by disc brakes. At 182kg, the motorcycle is heavier than the competition, but then it is not designed for a traffic signal drag race. Fuel tank can hold 13.3 litres of petrol.

Suzuki Inazuma's meaty tires and chunky styling gives it a big bike feel. It will appeal for someone who need a robust 250cc motorcycle with comfort as a priority over outright performance.

The company hasn't confirmed whether it's going to bring the Inazuma GW250 here or not, but we say, bring it on Suzuki!
