Our reader Toldi from Germany has sent in the Youtube link of a video he captured recently of the upcoming Porsche Macan from the roads of Stuttgart, Germany. Toldi was able to get a really close and got everything on tape.

The Audi Q5 based Macan is to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. It will be more luxurious and sportier than its four-ringed cousin even though it is an entry level Porsche. The sloping roofline, bigger overhangs and larger grille will be prominent on the production model. The prototype is cleverly camouflaged and some of the body is made from dummy parts.

The Macan will be powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 220hp, a 3.6-liter naturally-aspirated V6 engine with 295 hp and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 pumping out 370 hp on the flagship Macan Turbo variant.

Coming to the diesels, a 2.0-liter TDI with 190 hp and a V6 3.0-liter TDI making about 250hp form the lineup. In the coming years, it wouldn't be a surprise to us if a Macan Hybrid with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol and a 54hp motor augments the lineup.
