The Grand Santa Fe which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show is aimed mainly at the European market. However the Grand Santa Fe will be sold only in LHD configuration and Hyundai currently has no plans for a RHD version of the 7 Seater.

The wheelbase of the Grand Santa Fe is longer than the 5-seater by 3.9-inches (9.9 cm) and comes with two seating options. The seven seat option has captain seats in the middle row while the eight seat option has a traditional bench.

Styling wise, the Grand Santa Fe features revised front grill, bumper and foglamps. The rear fascia is completely restyled to adopt the added length and bulk.

For the Chinese market, the big SUV will be powered by a big petrol engine. The 3.3 litre GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) petrol motor with a power output of 286 bhp will be spearheading the proceedings. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

We already brought you few spy pictures of the Hyundai Santa Fe testing in India. Sadly, only the 5 seater version is earmarked for India. The India spec SUV will carry the 2.2 litre 194 bhp diesel engine which makes it the most powerful vehicle in its class.
