    Good pricing by Honda..!

Increase in dealer network only will help them to see good sales numbers. As of now many tier 2 cities doesn’t have dealers. Many tier 2 cities had the dealers but closed their showrooms since there was no sales scope for exisiting models.

Now with this pricing, they should target for atleast 6000 units/month. But Maruti would definitely counter attack honda with price reduction and refreshing models in coming months to retain the sales of dzire and swift.

Hyundai & Ford expected to launch their sub 4m sedans in coming years.Especially hyundai is working on all new sub 4m sedan unlike honda and maruti where they developed dzire and amaze from swift and brio hatchback models respectively.

    Here goes the list..

    Mahindra – Vibe
    Maruti – Dzire
    Honda – Amaze
    Ford – Expected 2014
    Hyndai -Expected 2014
    Tata- Indigo CS

Who else is working..? Toyota & Chevy…?Looks like this segement will be conjusted in 2014-2015.

Price seems spot on! Honda took clever step in pricing, impressed to see ABS+EBD across all variants for diesel. However, petrol should have undercut Dzire’s petrol bit more. Yet,… Bang on Amaze!

Dude, cancel your booking and get a Honda. It gives a much better feel when you drive a Honda in India, than a Suzuki. Just google the reliability and built quality of Honda and Suzuki. 🙂

Though you get a better finish in interior look in Swift and dzire ,I don’t think Maruthi is worth for what you pay !! I’m an auto expert and i would suggest anyone who plans for a Figo Zxi (D)/swift VDI/dzire VDI/i20 Magna /etios JD should definitely take a test drive of AMAZE and for sure EX or S variant of diesel should be the best and intelligent option, Honda never gives you a worst car trust them !! just to add I’m a current owner of Maruthi and Hyundai 😉 Finally if your mind says economical and Practical go with AMAZE 🙂 ALL THE BEST !!

I see base version is missing an accessory socket (12v), Vanity Mirrors… Also would have loved if base version had keyless entry too.. All these would not have increased the cost much.

Brother each one of us wants some bits and pieces in every base model which these sad automakers can’t give 😉 so better stretch to get the Fully loaded model 😉 Simple !! every one expects the features of elantra in Alto 800 !! does this sound meaningful 🙂 anyways Agree with you..

Amaze E Diesel will give all other cars run for money. Only thing to worry about is that, can they make enough cars to sell… Don’t think honda has capacity to produce more than 4000 Amaze cars a month. Let us see how Honda handles insane waiting periods.

Shrawan, got it. It’s in the brochure…thanks for the detailed write up.

ABS with EBD standard feature across all Diesel variants – Terrific stuff 🙂

Question – It’s mentioned that heat-absorbing front windshield comes as standard but in the brochure, its given only for the top end ..can you pls cross check?
