Following the Sail twins, the Enjoy is the third vehicle in India that is being brought from GM-SAIC joint venture in China. In its original avatar on the other side of Himalayas, the compact MPV calls itself as Wuling Hongguang.

The seven seat people mover is hoping to make a case for itself in the mini MPV segment which was inaugurated and is dominated by the Maruti Ertiga. While the pricing is expected to undercut the Toyota Innova by a sizable margin, Mr. Lowell Paddock, president and MD of GM India once told us that the legroom at the rear most row of seats will be better than the segment king.

The Chevrolet Enjoy will be powered by a 1.4 litre petrol or a 1.3 litre diesel engine. The latter is the same as the one which powers the Maruti Ertiga albeit without a VGT. The petrol motor has 103 bhp on tap while the oil burner offers 76 bhp.

The car is expected to be available in 6 variants with 3 each in petrol and diesel versions with nomenclatures LS, LT and LTZ. The Chevrolet Enjoy is expected to be launched in few week’s time.

I think Nissan Evalia has better engine then Enjoy. every thing remains the same. the rear seat of Evalia are foldable laterally to make a huge boot space where as enjoy rear seat folding doesn’t give enough space.

I think people of India need to improve the taste as well. Evalia is cheaper then Innova by more than 3 lacs and double milage. I am sure give it a try you will not regret.

Not bad at all, considering the apparent limitations of designing an MPV. This one does have a refined, contemporary feel to it.

I agree with Mr. Lowell Paddock, the Enjoy seems to be more spacious than even the segment king Innova. I’ve been using the Innova for quite a while now and I’m pleasantly shocked to see the massive cabin space and rich beige interior theme of Enjoy.

With GM planning a pretty aggressive pricing for the Enjoy, this is gonna be quite a release.
