Hailed as 'The Porsche 911 of SUVs' by its designer Gerry McGovern, the new Sport is anticipated in the Indian market by the end of 2013 or in early 2014. Deliveries are scheduled to begin overseas in September.

The new Sport is the "fastest, most agile and most responsive" Range Rover ever made. The design inspiration comes from its elder sister, the Evoque, which reversed fortunes for the British luxury utility vehicles maker, turning the company into a cash cow for Tata Motors.
