Jeep unleashes six concepts to highlight Jeep Easter Safari

Jeep has commenced its annual roll out of special concepts that would form a part of Jeep Easter Safari, one of America's largest recreational driving event which is held at Moab, Utah.

[Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II Concept]

The SUV specialist has unveiled concepts with significant additions that not only adds visual bling but also enhances the Jeeps' already high off road prowess.

The first of the concepts is the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II Concept. The car is powered by a EcoDiesel V6 engine. The imposing concept threatens the beholder with its humongous 35" tires that are wrapped around the 17" Rubicon alloy wheels. The wheel arches are flared to achieve a visual balance and the Trailhawk II Concept looks ravishing in the Orange paint job.

[Jeep Wrangler Mopar Recon Concept]

The second is the Jeep Wrangler Mopar Recon concept which looks set to devastate everything on its way with the 6.4 litre HEMI V8 under the hood. The 470 bhp of power goes to all the wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission and Dana 60 axles. The concept employs 4.5" prototype long arm suspension kit and comes shod with prototype eight-lug bead lock wheels.

The Jeep Wrangler Stitch focuses on being light. Thanks to the alloy roll cages and and extensive use of carbon fiber elements, the Stitch tips the scale at 1.6 tonnes. The concept matches Grand Chrokee SRT in terms of power to weight ratio. The capable off roader comes with DanyTrac Pro Rock 44 axles and ARB air differential rocks.

The Jeep Wrangler Sand Trooper II gets the 5.7 litre HEMI and boasts eight lug portal axles. The concept sports a set of massive 40" tires!

[Jeep Wrangler Flattop Concept]

The Jeep Wrangler Flattop concept is a hardtop windowless car which is shorter than the regular car by 2". The B-Pillar has been sacked for a big side opening. The interior gets Katzkin leather seats. Warn Zeon winch and 37-inch Mickey Thompson tires round off the eccentricities.

The last concept is the the Jeep Wrangler Slim which is powered by a 3.6 litre V6. Other features include 17" prototype wheels, 10th anniversary Rubicon front bumper and rock rails. The ride height is pumped up by 2".
