Nithyanandh K, As a toddler, those wheeled machinery fascinated me even before I knew what they’re called as! So here I'm, petrolhead by birth, Mechanical engineer by qualification and automotive reporter by profession!
The centenary celebration of a brand as sexy as Aston Martin definitely asks for a super sexy special edition and that is exactly what the Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition promises to be.
The Vanquish Centenary Edition was unveiled online and the car makes its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Only 100 models of the car will be built making it extremely exclusive.
Whats special in the Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition?
- Bespoke paint finish which according to the company requires more than 68 hours worth of work
- Deep soft black leather upholstery which was hitherto available only in the Aston Martin One-77 – with contrasting silver stitching, a silver thread embroidery of the Aston Martin wings in the head restraints
- Sterling Silver plaques on the door sill with unique numbering to mark the special edition
Each Centenary Edition model will also be offered with a unique presentation box containing a number of exclusive gifts to mark the 100 years of the Aston Martin. These include two bespoke key pouches made from leather matching the car’s interior trim, two glass keys, silver Rollerball pen, silver cufflinks featuring the Aston Martin script and Bang & Olufsen headphones.
The gift box will also include a silver polishing cloth to help owners ensure the silver centenary wings badges and sill plaques on their car keep their lustre.
