The family of facelifted Volvos will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show next week. The cars get a minor nip and tuck to their exterior styling and feature added equipment. However the hardware remains untouched.

Changes to the exterior are subtle but the overall result is a more refined design. The front grill, headlamps, the bumpers and the tail lamps are tweaked on all three cars. The facelift also applies to the V60 Plugin Hybrid.

The interior layout remains untouched but there is an interesting addition here. Volvo has upgraded the cars' instrument console to the Adaptive Digital Display (ADD) which debuted in the Volvo V40.

The ADD can be configured to three modes - Elegance, Eco and Performance. The instrument console will display only the information relevant to the selected mode.

The other inclusions are pedestrian detection and road sign information systems. In addition the cars get a new 7" Sensus connected touch multimedia infotainment system.

Volvo hopes that the refreshed product lineup will give them enough buffer time to bring the new generation models.
