The S Class duo were doing rounds on the bypass in Milan and were spotted wearing German number plates. Nothing like a nice long trip from Deutschland to Italy to test the fuel economy of the flagship right?

The 2014 S Class will be a series of cars as already reported. The sedan should be followed by the long wheel base variant, coupe and also the cabriolet.

Not too long ago, we got you some spy shots of the rumored interior of the S Class. While it looked pretty minimalistic, even we couldn't help but think it could just be a mock up to hide the actual interior from prying eyes.

Mercedes says that it would take safety and technology to an all together different level with the introduction of the all new S Class. The S Class would feature an all new driverless system which would aid in safety.

That's not all. Being the flagship, the S Class would embrace a new host of safety systems such as the Distronic Plus with Mercedes' proprietary Pre-Safe and steering assist.

Mercedes is expected to show the all new S Class at the Frankfurt Motor Show scheduled to take place later this year.
