The Maruti Ertiga is posting some strong numbers to the company's sales charts and the MPV is quite popular in Indonesia too.

Suzuki Ertiga for Indonesia

Maruti ships CKD kits to Indonesia where the compact MPV is assembled for the local market. The Indonesian Suzuki Ertiga has received a minor upgrade for 2013.

The only exterior change to the 2013 Suzuki Ertiga is the front grill which now gets three horizontal chrome stripes instead of the honeycomb mesh. Suzuki has updated only the top two variants of the Ertiga namely the GL and GX.

Along with the chrome bar, the updated variants of the Ertiga comes with twin blower (for front and middle row seats) air conditioner which was not available in the Indonesian market till date. It is to be noted that the Indian version of the MPV is available with rear AC vents right from the time of launch last year.

The base GA variant continues with a single blower AC to keep the entry level price at a competitive point. The top of the line GX comes with dual airbags, ABS, side impact beam and engine immobilizer as standard. The GL variant gets the last two options.

The revised Ertiga is priced at 160.8 million Indonesian Rupiah (around Rs.8.99 lakhs) for the GL variant and 172.8 million Indonesian Rupiah (around Rs. 9.71 lakhs) for the GX variant.

Maruti is looking to have minor facelifts of their cars for the year 2013. We have seen the Wagon R facelift and the spyshots of the SX4 with new face. Likewise, Maruti could give other members like the Ertiga and the Swift a little touch up as well.
