There is a flurry of i10 special editions in the past few weeks. First we saw the Hyundai i10 Black Pack edition and now we get to see the i10 Colourz Edition from Malaysia.

Interestingly, both these special editions can be easily confused for a facelift because they feature a slightly re-worked front fascia. The Black Pack edition features a piano black roof and a blackened hexagonal front grill.

The i10 Colourz Limited Edition features a slightly different front fascia with a new front grille which seems to be inspired by the Storm Edge design philosophy. Are Hyundai preparing our eyes for the next generation i10?

It also features a complete body kit with new alloys and a rear spoiler. The interior gets black and red leather seats as standard.

The Colourz Limited Edition is powered by a 1.2 liter Kappa engine. This is a 4-cylinder engine that generates 80PS@6,000rpm and 111Nm@4,000rpm. It is mated to a four speed automatic transmission. Plus, Hyundai also offers a 5 years/300,000 km warranty in Malaysia.

It can be availed in the following shades –

  • Ice Silver
  • Lavender Pink
  • Passion Purple
  • Carbon Grey
  • Peach White
  • Tangy Orange
  • Aquamarine Blue

Unfortunately, no pricing details on the Hyundai i10 Colourz Edition have been announced yet. What we do know is Hyundai makes the i10 in India and in a snap can dispatch similar examples to the local dealer yards, if they want to.

They say sooner or later your passion finds you. Sometime in late 2009, I started writing for IAB and ever since then it has been a roller coaster ride for me. An amazing experience that has taught me a lot, taken me to new places, driven some great cars and met some amazing people. When you don't find me on IAB (very rarely), you will find me either at a coffee shop or an eatery or at the nearest gadget store.Hope you enjoy IAB as much as we do!
