Toyota Kirloskar Motors has launched a limited edition of the Etios sedan called the TRD Sportivo to cash in on the increasing popularity of the Etios Motor Racing series.
The TRD limited edition Etios is an attempt to infuse a sporty image into the Etios brand. The car will be available in both petrol and diesel versions. The Liva TRD Sportivo edition was already launched a few months ago.
The front bumper of the Etios Sportivo looks busy with many additional elements and an aggressive chin. The car gets Toyota Racing Development (TRD) designed aerodynamic side skirts and rear bumpers that render a sporty stance.
The 15" alloy wheels are similar in pattern to that of the Liva TRD Sportivo and sports a gun metal finish. There are TRD decals on the door panels.
The boot lid carries the 'TRD Sportivo' badge and the branding is continued to the interiors as well. The seat fabrics are exclusive to the limited edition and get the TRD Sportivo logo. The gear knob is finished in silver.
The car is available in white and symphony silver exterior color options and is priced at Rs. 6.25 lakhs for the petrol version and Rs. 7.31 lakhs for the diesel version, all prices ex-showroom.
With the Etios TRD Sportivo edition, Toyota is targeting younger audience.
