Rolling footage of the 2013 Honda Accord [video]

Kaustubh

Kaustubh Shinde, They say sooner or later your passion finds you. Sometime in late 2009, I started writing for IAB and ever since then it has been a roller coaster ride for me. An amazing experience that has taught me a lot, taken me to new places, driven some great cars and met some amazing people. When you don't find me on IAB (very rarely), you will find me either at a coffee shop or an eatery or at the nearest gadget store.Hope you enjoy IAB as much as we do!

The next generation Honda Accord was recently unveiled for the US market. Before the unveiling, we presented some live images of 2013 Honda Accord caught near a dealer’s yard for another perspective of the car.

Now, it’s time to see the real thing, in action.

Thanks to Automobilemag.com, we bring you a short footage of the updated Accord in action.

In the US, the 2013 Honda Accord will be offered with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol engine (181 hp) and a 3.5-liter petrol V-6 (271 hp) mated to a CVT or a six-speed manual. Honda also has plans to launch a plug-in hybrid variant powered by a 2.0 liter i-VTEC Atkinson four-cylinder, backed by an electric CVT in the near future.

The 2013 Honda Accord will reach dealerships next month to fight it out against the other two new launches, the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima. The gorgeous Ford Fusion (a.k.a Ford Mondeo) will hit US stands hopefully by December presenting another challenge to the Accord.
