You either design a car that can be used indoors, or you bring the screen into the car.

Mercedes Benz has chosen the latter through introducing a new concept as part of the COMAND infotainment system on its A Class hatchback. It has a "Cover Flow" function that “keeps your favorite album in mind and of course in the ear.”

The A Class is a clean sheet design, that is 100% targeted at the youth, and launches in India in July 2013. It has already reached Mercedes dealers in Europe with a choice of three- and four-cylinder turbo diesels putting out between 109 PS to 136PS, in addition to three petrol engines making between 122 PS and 211 PS. Deliveries begin in September.

Mercedes is in the process of preparing an AMG version that is said to make over 300PS!

Every youngster has your undivided attention, Mercedes.

The A Class takes part in the competition that see the BMW 1-Series, Audi A3 and the Volvo V40 vying for the top spot.
