Mercedes Benz has shown the new M-Class at the Auto Expo and recently officials told us that in April the vehicle will be available for customers. A few units have already reached dealerships and here's an image of the car leaving the Chakan factory, captured by OnCars.in.
The difference between the old and new ML-Class cars are their birth processes. The new ML-Class is a CKD product, assembled in Pune, while the outgoing model was a CBU. Huge growth is anticipated in the coming years for both Mercedes Benz SUVs, the reason why the ML-Class is assembled starting this year while the GL-Class will be, starting next year.
Mercedes will start assembling the ML-Class by Diwali but until then, the vehicles reaching customers are imported from Germany.
