Official – Ford India brings new Fiesta sedan in 2011

Ford India in a press release confirmed that the new Fiesta sedan is heading to India this year. The press release does not specify the timeline for the launch, but we’re expecting it to make an appearance in June-July 2011. Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the SX4 Diesel with the 1.3-liter diesel engine. It boasts of a fuel economy of 21.5 kmpl and is available in three trims – VDi, ZDi and ZDi with leather upholstery. The SX4 Diesel is priced between 7.74-8.62 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 1.3-liter engine on the Maruti SX4 Diesel delivers 90PS of peak power at 4,000rpm. Honda introduces Accord facelift in India at 19.6 lakh

Tata takes Manza, Aria, Vista to Geneva 2011

Tata Motors will bring three models from its current portfolio to the Geneva Motor Show that begins next month. The three models on display are Vista, Aria and the Manza. Tata will showcase the Vista and Manza with the current 1.4-liter petrol/1.3-liter diesel engines. The power spectrum of 75-90hp is left untouched.
