Maruti’s seven seater Eco’ price could start around 4 lakhs

Maruti Suzuki’s Versa replacement will be named Eco. The 7 seater MPV, which many of us believe is a revamped Suzuki APV, goes live at the Auto Expo next year.
The Versa wasn’t working for Maruti and the company hopes the Eco will turn it around for them. Maruti produced the Versa only for special cases in the last few months. Production of the model now has come to a halt.
We’ve seen plenty of speculation on the price point of this new model, but no clear indication from Maruti till now. Whether Maruti will fit it with a fuel efficient diesel powertrain is another question raised.

I am very much interested in buying EECO-7seater car. At present I am having maruthi 800 EX model – 2002. Now since my family is bigger, i am going for this car. But have heard that there is no AC in 7 seater.
1) Can it be fixed is my question??
2) Is there any possiblity of having an option of connecting gas and using it??
3) sliding doors on either side, than space for luggage??

Maruti 800 is the best car in my life Becz more then 3 years i am using,Maruti ECO KMPL is very low as per specation, if possible make engine CC below then 1000 if u can then KMPL may incress, Also make opetion for A/C & non A/C in 7 seater.

I like Maruti Eeco is very ideal vehicle but,it can make more comfert as Omni. Maruti Suzuki why not adjusted 8 seat as like Maruti Omni 8 seater? In this seating arrangement is doing large space in behind. And it can adjusted gas tank also.Pl.say me.

The vehicle is good in the same catagory of other vehciles and it is better choice in the maruti versa , Omini group as well.
I look for a Diesel Engine to come out.
Eco 7 Seater will be ideal vehicle low income families considering cost of innova etc. Diesel Engine will be cost effective, so waiting for the Diesel Engine. All are waiting to see the mileage etc. Sucess of the model depend on all the factor of cost effective maintencne, mileage, price and performance of the vehicle. waiting to see the out come.

it is a good vechicle to compete others
Eeco could be an ideal cab if powered by diesel engines. Company should keep in mind about the pricing of diesel variant. If the diff in petrol and diesel will be maintained to Rs 50000.00, the diesel version would sell like hot cakes and will be in a position to beat leading car manufacturers.

hope suzuki will stop omni type coffin boxes on 4 wheels here after they have nobody stopping them selling unsafe passenger vehicle made in India because Govt themselves are run by uneducated, uncultured people ,Suzuki made these death boxes since 1985 to Indian masses and made monies only in india

Maruti has top quality diesel engine, why they didnt use that diesel engine in Eeco.
If Maruti wants to take on Xylo, Tavera & Sumo Grande, so diesel engine is necessary bcoz both APVs or MPVs or MUVs are in diesel engine.
