Next generation BMW 5 Series test mule encounters traffic in Munich
According to a recent report, BMW will put an end to the current generation 5 Series (E60) in December.
The new BMW 5-Series, however, will be launched only after the Geneva Motor Show in March next year. In this time gap, BMW will retool its plants to manufacture the next generation 5 Series.
If this is the case, we can expect the next generation 5 Series in India by June or July?
The next generation BMW 5 Series will benefit from the use of aluminium. Its design will be closely based on the new 7 Series and Concept CS.

Chevrolet Cruze standing pretty in a South African dealership.
Our regular reader Siddhanth Ahuja has driven the Chevrolet Cruze and he’s given us an exclusive look into the product. The images accompanying the text is brought to you by our South African reader Shaun Malambo, who previously spoke about his brush with the newest Chevy.
Siddhant -
This is the most awaited Chevy to hit the Indian shores. GM is going strong in India with sales touching the peak, contrary to what is happening back in the states. GM India aspires to hold a 10% market share by 2012. With products like the Cruze, it surely can!
Here is my review of the Chevrolet Cruze.
Inside out -
The Cruze is one good looking car-there is no denying that fact. One look at it and you’d be floored. It looks striking from the front-sharp and angular headlamps with a huge split grill,a new chevy logo,a line that runs at the centre of the bonnet all make it look aggressive.

The facelifted Maruti Suzuki SX4 with an engine transplant will be revealed in full media presence on the 12th of this month, reports on the internet claim.
There has been no confirmation from Maruti Suzuki, but reliable sources tell us the new SX4 will get a 2 unit increase in power and torque. A 5 speed automatic gearbox would also be offered on one of the variants.
Actor John Abraham has apparently been roped in as the brand ambassador for the new SX4.
We’ll report as we learn more. Story developing.
Massive, both in size and accomplishment.
Or I could title it using any of the following alternatives
Creating Storm and making fortunes for the Company
7000 in 30 days, still queues lined up for more
Reaching the years target in just 30 days
Cheques flowing, people queuing up outside Toyota showrooms to have them parked in their car parks without even taking the test drives (Even if maniacs like us wish to lay their hands behind its steering, they come destitute handed as most dealers don’t even have demo or test drive cars), that’s how this new butch machine has been accepted in the country.
The number of bookings have gone so far, that Toyota management has taken the control of it themselves and no more bookings are accepted in showrooms.

The next generation Corolla faces stiff competition from the likes of Hyundai, Ford etc.
We cannot tell for sure if Toyota’s next generation Corolla would look like the one you see above. What Toyota would not want to do is make it sharper and pointed, and give it common grounds with the upcoming Honda Civic.
The next generation Toyota Corolla should be evolutionary instead of revolutionary, because a revolutionary design could not suit the tastes of Toyota’s longtime followers. Customers of Toyota products, as per my observation, don’t buy it for its looks or shape. They understand the quality and the care with which it has been built. They look beyond what others can see in a Toyota.
Toyota needs to be extra careful with the next generation model as Hyundai, Ford and the others have also upped their game and will give a tougher fight.

With slimmer headlamps and redesigned foglamps, the Fabia now looks more mature
The facelifted Skoda Fabia was caught testing at night by the eagle eyed blokes at Auto Express. The model you see here in the photographs is the Fabia Estate, which will share its front fascia with the hatchback.
Caught without camouflaged, the images reveal the aggressive updated front fascia with slimmer headlights and redesigned fog lamps. The rest of the car looks the same.
Horsepower will be derived from the same 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol engines currently offered, along with 1.4 and 1.9-litre diesels.
Will the refreshed Skoda Fabia be a sight to the sore eyes at the Skoda counter in the Auto Expo? We’re investigating.

Hyundai has recently added liquefied petroleum gas-powered model to the Santa Fe SUV lineup in Korea. For our readers, it may look a little strange as we don’t have a single SUV here operating on LPG. LPG options are offered only on smaller vehicles and their numbers are also limited.
The SUV is equipped with a 2.7-liter LPG engine that puts out 162 brake horsepower and coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai claims the vehicle’s fuel economy is 7.9 kilometers per liter, which according to them is the most economical SUV in that category.
The more economical LPG Santa Fe also costs more than the regular Santa Fe. In India, according to HMIL, the Santa Fe will arrive next year.
