Looking at its past record in India, it took ages to go from 100 to 150 cc. Fz16, FZ-S and Fazer 150 (all having same engine) were released after a seemingly never ending wait. It is imagined that their stingyness with cc's in India will continue and to go from 150-250 cc, they might take a decade, frustrating their customers in the process. Having said the above, of course yamaha is selling bikes like R1 and MT in India but those are imported ones for which the buyer has to pay 110% duty...something that the Indian govt. doesnt deserve. -Ashutosh It is unlikely that yamaha will come up with something like 250 so soon.
