Based on the elegant finish, The Honda Jazz Carré Blanc is a special edition model launched in France. Only 250 copies will be made available from September this year. The Carre Blanc will only come with the 1.4 i-VTEC petrol engine.
The special edition Jazz comes with a sun roof and the rest of the interior remains the same. On the body, art work is not for everyone’s taste.
The Carre Blanc will set customers back by 15,600 Euros and they can choose their car in six colors – Milano Red, blue, Sapphire Blue, Gray Hurricane, Black Crystal and Alabaster Silver.
It was only a matter of time before we received confirmation. Our friend in Brazil, Marlos Vidal, says Tata Nanos are running around Fiat’s largest production production plant in Betim, Brazil.
Marlos explains the car that is doing rounds, is a prototype, and its specifications might be different to the Indian car. The car might be sold as a Tata, or Fiat could use the Nano’s base to station its own mini car.
If the former is the case, Tata has showcased the Nano Europa concept with different bumpers and interiors, so this could be one such derivative.
We’ll have to wait and see how this story unfolds.
We decided not to hold this back any longer. We published our first post a year and 2 days back, and though last Sunday was officially our 1st anniversary, we consider today as our birth day.
To celebrate this occasion, we’re giving the blog a face-lift. If you were with us a few hours back, you could have got an idea about the re-design.
Apart from the visual changes, we plan to a lot more in the coming months.
- We’ve tested the Question Of The Day and we’ll be having it once in two days starting today
- We’re bringing back the gadgets section. Once in a while, we’ll be bringing you useful gadgets which you might be interested in
- Focus turns towards 2-wheelers in v2.0. We shall keep you up to date on what is happening in the 2-wheeler industry, and in the future, evaluate more bikes and bring you comprehensive reports
- There will be image galleries accompanying text wherever possible
- We’re also going to write on how to maintain your ride. The “Advise” section will be back brimming with posts
- At times, you might also find us explaining technology to you now and then.
How fast is technology is moving? Put simply, what I found in cars even three years back, have become irrelevant in today’s cars.
Take the case of the Tata Nano. Before its introduction, many assumed it would have a carburreted engine with ice-age electronics and electricals. But to everyone’s surprise, Tata has come out with a product that shows the way forward, by not moving backward ie – not using old and out-dated technology for cost benefits. The Nano uses fuel injection and tubeless tires, stuff that I see missing even on top-end motorcycles of this day in India.
So the point is, though these gadgets are capable of doing very little, they are the same breed as their bigger counterparts, which function in any of the modern day Honda or Toyota. Could this level of development happen in the world of electric cars? This is what I am wondering.
Actually, my question is already answered. Partly.

In the Xylo, we had to climb into the car using the foot board, but on the Innova, it is like any entering a sedan. The third row seats are easier to access but not as comfortable as the Xylo.
The Innova’s climate control has four vents on the dashboard and two vents on the roof for the middle row and two more for the last row. The triangular vents have their corners rounded, which are done for no apparent reason.
