You guessed it. For the whole of today we’re getting stuck behind the wheel of a beautiful Audi A4 3.2 FSI. We’re not going to keep our discoveries to ourselves, our selfless nature would never allow us to do such acts.
So throughout today, we’ll share images and our driving experience with you. We’ll give you updates probably once every hour. We’ll post information on particular topics every time.

We’ve embarked on our journey, we’ll be doing more than 200 kms with it by dusk, and then, we’ll show you how beautiful this car is at night. We’ll also find out if those LEDs are any good.
Our Audi for the day is in bright red color. Its sexy, its low profile tires are mounted on to 17 inch alloys lend it a sporty and low stance (don’t know if it would like the speed humps out in the city).

A 6 CD changer is helping us feel at home. The 265 bhp, 330Nm 3.2-liter torque mammoth puts diesel engines to shame, its bolted on to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Audi A4 costs roughly 35.5 lakh on-road ex-showroom Mumbai. The model we’re driving has a bucket load of gadgets. The park assist system with sensors all round the car keeps it at a safe distance from walls, doors, trees and other vehicles. The rpm needle starts from the base of the tacho’s dial, which is unique, and unlike the Mercedes C-Class which we drove a while back.
We’re discovering new stuff all the time. Check back in an hour for more of the A4.

Mahindra Two wheelers, formerly known as Kinetic Two Wheelers, has had enough of Honda’s dominance in the gearless scooter market in India. Yesterday we informed you about TVS’s ambitious plans to finish Honda, and today, MTW comes to the fore.
Along with change, more or less comes sacrifice. The Kinetic Blaze, which is fitted with a 165cc, 11.5bhp engine sourced from Hyosung, is officially history.
The Blaze was known for its hell-on-earth power and pickup. It’s intensity was pumped up by “Catch me if you can” badge on its back, which was blamed for road rage of trailing commuters.
That was not exactly the cause for its extinction. It was its diminishing sales numbers, which Mahindra clearly outlined when it said “no market for the Blaze in India.”
MTW will retain most of the 250 dealers who sold Kinetic 2-wheelers. MTW at present sells 3,000 units of the Flyte, which is no match to the 45,000-50,000 Activas sold by Honda.
With the backing of Mahindra’s marketing team and new products, perhaps in the near future the Honda dominance will come crumbling down.
Going through Ford’s history, nothing like what they are going to do has been done before. The American auto maker plans to launch an assualt in the sub-compact hatchback segment of developing markets, not by creating something from scratch, but by using a phased-out base.
Ford’s new small car, developed in 19 months, is codenamed B 517 and the automaker’s first ever hatchback in India. Not only will it be manufactured and sold here, it will be shipped to Europe, South Africa and Australia. Its highlight – usage of a phased out Ford Fiesta platform.

We could not believe our eyes when photographs of the Suzuki Kizashi from a private unveiling ceremony were posted online. It wasn’t pictures of a camouflaged test mule, but a production model without even an inch of camouflage.
- Look at those alloy wheels!!
- What’s with the chrome strip along the wheelbase?
- Why isn’t there a photo clicked from the back?
- Did you see those greedy fog lamps? look how much they eat into the bumper’s territory!

Michael Schumacher is back! No, this is not a joke.
Ferrari driver Felipe Massa was seriously injured in an accident during the Hungarian GP qualifying last weekend, which needed immediate surgery, and the Brazilian was deemed unfit for competing in the forthcoming races.
Thirteen drivers were in contention for Massa’s seat, and news about Schumacher’s return was speeding up all the time.
Yesterday, Schumacher announced he was looking forward to the challenges that await him in the driver’s seat of teammate Massa’s Ferrari putting an end to all speculation about the stand-in driver.
Schumacher said his F1 chapter was closed long ago, and this return was an opportunity to show his loyalty to Ferrari.
Welcome back Schumi! We wish you all the very best!

Today’s article throws light on four random items which fall under no particular category. The top-end model has these bits which are helpful and not so helpful at times.
The Innova’s steering is positioned like on a car – at an ideal angle, it also comes with adjustment for height. The top-end model we’re driving is equipped with controls for the audio system and MID. You can use the controls to turn up or down the volume, and toggle between the displays on the MID, which even have a digital compass, which should help if you hate maps.
The steering without the leather wrap does not feel very nice to grip. On a car that costs almost 13 lakhs, we feel it is essential to have leather on the steering and gear knob.

The Toyota Corolla has just become more affordable and cheaper to run. The 1.33 dual VVT-i engine that the iQ uses, can now be found under the bonnet of the Corolla (Corolla Altis to Indians)
You see, overseas, the Corolla has the likes of the VW Jetta and Mitsubishi Lancer fighting for the coveted title of the best economy sedan. The Corolla in India faces little competition in India if you see its opponents in Spain. You got the likes of the Ford Focus sedan, the Mazda3 SportSedán and the Skoda Octavia breathing down the neck of the Corolla.
Apart from the 1.33 dual VVT-i engine, the Corolla gets a new diesel engine in the form of a D-4D 1.4 liter engine with piezoelectric injectors. The petrol engine gets a start-stop system which cuts off fuel supply when the engine is idling for long.
