The Czech car manufacturer (Skoda, you can read their plans here) along with Volkswagen is all set to make HUGE profits by the upcoming model Up! which was displayed at the Frankfurt Motor Show some time back.

The reason behind saying HUGE profits is, the car will be built using Indian resources for 900 Euros at a low cost Indian assembly plant and the company has plans to sell the Up! for 9,000 Euros in the international markets.

Sounds cruel.

Our friend Paul Maric over at Car Advice Australia, sent us a message this morning. What they have caught on camera will raise a few Indian eyebrows too.

It’s the Ford small car we’ve been tracking all year long.

The spyshots were picked up in Australia, the car will be introduced as a Mazda for domestic consumption. The long wheelbase, C-Pillar angle and rear quarter glass shape puts it closer in design to the Ford Fusion.

Ford’s new small car isn’t exactly small.

New Fiat Palio and Uno to exist alongside current models

The new Fiat Palio and the Fiat Uno will coexist with the existing Fiats, reports Noticiasautomotivas. Remember that the Uno was launched back in 1984 and when the new Palio comes in the next few years, the Uno would have completed 30 years of its life with very little changes to its looks.

In India, Fiat’s isn’t letting go of the Palio as its entry level model. Next year the Palio will receive a facelift to keep abreast with competitors going into the next decade. Structural modifications and a modified steering wheel to make way for the compulsory airbag is planned in 2014.

Three lightly camouflaged Suzuki Kizashis were spotted outside a Kansas hotel by a Carscoop reader. This time around, the cars interiors can be viewed in greater detail.

The Speedo and Tachometer are set deep, much like Alfa Romeo instrument panels. The knobs and buttons are quite well organised, but confined to the center stack.

The refreshed Fiat Grande Punto a.k.a. Punto Evo will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor show this September. This is the next model from Fiat, although not a brand new one, it has significant changes worthy to call it a new car.

The introduction of the Multiair technology will boost fuel economy and suppress emission levels. It will also get more exciting interiors including a dashboard made out of better materials and a new design that would put the current one’s to shame.

Spied – 2011 Suzuki Swift

We did not cover the first batch of the next generation Suzuki Swift’s image since they technically did not reveal anything.

But the new shots we got here is clear and confirms the next generation Suzuki Swift will be bigger than the current car. The design will be more rounded, and hopefully the rear leg room is improved as well.Expect a similar suspension and handling, as these are strengths that took the Swift to the top of the charts all over the world.
