We’ve already brought you a set of shots and video of a Chevrolet Spark/Beat test mule on Indian roads. On the previous occasion, things were a bit foggy, which is not the case with the new set of shots sent to us by Mahantesh who reads Indian Autos Blog daily.
Mahantesh spotted this camouflaged Chevrolet Beat/Spark on the Bangalore-Mysore highway. When questioned, the team that tested the mules reiterated the car’s December launch. The test mule had a petrol engine, but the displacement or power was not divulged.
Mahantesh observes the rear of the new Spark/Beat is similar to the Ritz in size and style. He peeped in to find a lot of leg room for both the front and rear passenger. The unique instrument cluster also caught his attention.

Two of our readers, Naz Sid and Shakti have sent us images of the new Yamaha Fazer 150. Naz Sid continues to set the streets on fire with his not very old YZF-R15 and fall in love with more Yamahas, while Shakti had the chance to attend the launch in Delhi, and decided to help us and his photography, modeling skills.
The new Fazer is nothing more than a cowled FZ16 with bigger tires and flashy decals. The cowl is aerodynamically designed, at high speeds, it would offer better stability. Don’t ask me if the FZ16 rider would fall of at such speeds.

Fiat India was going through a rough patch due to the underperforming Palio. To Fiat, the Linea was nothing less than a saviour, a new model that promised to brighten Fiat’s image here in India.
The state of the economic conditions has left the Linea in a helpless state. It has managed to do only a portion of the rebuilding process. As things are getting back to normal, the scope for further improvement widens, and the Linea has a tough task to do.
At this crucial time, we thought it was best occasion to study the Linea and see whether it can deliver the goods. For someone who isn’t willing to buy the Honda or the Ford, will the Linea offer the relief?
We were given keys to a diesel model, which has the 1.3-liter Multijet engine that is common on everyday cars to find out.
If the cult movie – Italian Job had an all Italian cast, the choice of getaway cars would have been fairly obvious – Fiat 500s (Formula: Brit icon Mini => Italian icon 500). Hang on, it seems they would have chosen Grande Punto over the 500. Don’t ask how that works, its hard to understand Italians at times.
In case you didn’t notice, the Puntos in this video are in red, white and green – colours of the Italian flag.
