The Suzuki Swift has a ubiquitous presence in India, being the car of choice for people of all ages. Maruti Suzuki tried to cash in on this craze by giving it a boot and badging it the Swift Dzire.

Cringe worthy looks aside, Maruti seems to have been spot on with its decision to give the Swift a boot.

The Suzuki Swift Dzire has sold 61,952 units during FY 2008-09 making it the best selling car in the C-segment.

The unequaled success is being attributed to the availability of a 1.3-litre diesel version, which accounts for almost 65% of the sales.

Wald International has certainly made a mark for itself in the modification and body kits market. The Japanese outfit maker in its 15 year history has taken on many models from Japanese and European manufacturers and turned them into a modified car lover’s delight.

The Wald 200 Land Cruiser Sports Line Black Bison Edition marks the 8th vehicle in the Sports Line Black Bison lineup. It is evident that the company was trying to build a vehicle that is, “Aggressive, Powerful and [has a] Muscular Style” and they have ensured that they do not go over the top and overdo the stuff.

We are not bored of the Suzuki Kizashi, not yet.

The D-Segment model billed as the Cruze to Camry challenger will attract eyeballs once it reaches roads, regardless of the latitude and longitude.

The Kizashi sedan will reach destination India by 2011, by then people would have given up on the existing line of cars which fall on the other side of 10 lakh rupees.

Spied near Arizona, this is a production car which we infer by the lack of any major camouflage or ill-fitting components. The interiors are of quality unseen in Suzuki‘s products. The centre console imitates the front-end design and is made of high quality materials.

The inclusion of Bravo, a 5-door hatchback a renowned badge from Fiat, is most certainly in doubt. The main reason for this problem is the whopping 100% import duty it will invite just like its three-door relative 500 (which is retailed above Rs. 13 lakhs) in India.

And add the recent downfall in the automobile sales in India. Conditions are improving, yes, but certainly isn’t he best time for a premium hatchback from a company that is recovering lost ground in the country.
