Regular readers would have seen the 2012 Mercedes Benz ML-Class renderings posted earlier. It is now certain that the next generation model will use the hybrid powertrain developed for the S-Class.

The current generation Mercedes ML-Class which we reviewed earlier, didn’t throw up any major drawbacks even when we put it through some of the roughest possible terrain. The new model will be slightly smaller but the wheelbase will remain same, maybe Mercedes have struck the right balance between offering customers the best possible comfort and handling.

The doors are differently designed, the door handle position is altered going by image of the test mule. The bumpers are altered and the day time running LED lights start out for the first time on the 2012 Mercedes ML-Class.

Fine tuning the ML’s looks to suit today’s world is never going to be a very difficult job, but that will not stop Mercedes from giving its 100%.

More spy shots and information is likely to be released soon. Stay tuned until then!

@Greg – behind the camouflage might lay something else.

Those tail lights look good, but hopefully that is what they will end up looking like.
