German tuning company AVUS Performance today revealed its new customization kit for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. The standout is obviously the heavily tuned 6.L V8 engine that produces 585Bhp and 600Nm of torque. Hence, the car can effortlessly hit 200Mph (300 Kph).

The AVUS C63 upgrades consists of

  • stiffer suspension layout
  • Mirror covers
  • Black painted front grille, roof and Mercedes star
  • a stainless steel exhaust system that makes the car louder
  • 19“ AMG multi-spoke rims (20“ optional)
  • 8-piston brake calipers on 380mm diameter discs

  1. @petrolheart, we completely agree. We think its inappropriate, but we do tuning news on cars available in India. It also adds to the fun portion; without it the blog would have no international flavor :)

    With reference to India, our road conditions and the requirements of India’s potential market, these modifications ( and possibly these cars as well) are not very relevant.

    Information on cars for India’s A, B, C & D platforms, their respective advantages/disadvantages and TCO will help us arrive at informed decisions.

    Moreover, IAB has a special role to play to wean Indians away from flash and focus more on the underlying engineering to make all of us more auto savvy. For example, car makers continue to saddle us with phased out engines and interiors, whereas neighbouring countries such as Thailand and Sri Lanka get better/ more contemporary cars. Thank you.
